Learn the Pressure Passing System and Smash Younger, More Athletic Opponents, with Fabio Gurgel – a 4 Time World Champion and the Infamous Coach of Over 50 World Champions!!
Finally, a high percentage, high pressure guard passing system to shut down your opponent’s guards, wear them down and have them practically give you the pass because they’re so tired of fighting you – guaranteed!
Passing the guard is one of the hardest things to do in jiu-jitsu.
There are so many young, tricky, and super-flexible guard players out there who can wrap you up with the latest guards and sweep you all over the place. Unless you’re super talented yourself, if you try and match them speed for speed, athleticism for athleticism, you’re going to lose.
The answer is to go old school and smash them with pressure-based passing.
And there’s nobody better to teach you how to do this than Fabio Gurgel.
Fabio Gurgel has coached more than 50 World Champions and is a 4 time world champion himself. And even though he’s almost 50 years old his intense pressure passing and top game still make him a terror on the mats, hanging with much younger players and tapping them out.
His pressure passing system will shut down your opponents’ guards, wear them down, and have them practically give you the guard pass because they’ll be so tired of fighting you.
Pressure passing isn’t just for big guys! Being able to generate top pressure and pass the guard is a critical skill no matter how big you are.
That’s why lightweight BJJ legends like Cobrinha (154 lbs), and even rooster-weights like Bruno Malfacine (126 lbs) credit Fabio Gurgel’s techniques for taking their guard passing to the next level (scroll down to see exactly what they say).
The bottom line is that pressure passing is the perfect way to go if you lack the agility, athleticism and endurance required for fancy speed-based passing!

What is Pressure Passing?
There are only two basic ways to pass the guard: speed passing and pressure passing.
Both of them work, but the thing is that not each of these methods is applicable for every person.
For example, it’s beautiful to watch a speed-based passer like Rafa Mendes float, flip, somersault, cartwheel and breakdance his way past the guard.
But what if you’re not young, agile or athletic? What if you’re not the Energizer Bunny anymore… what if you can’t just keep going and going and going until you finally sprint past your opponent’s guard?
Fortunately there’s pressure passing which, unlike speed passing, happens mostly from the knees. It revolves around getting a few, specific positions where you immobilise your opponent’s hips and kill his legs. This keeps you relatively safe and, more importantly, transfers all of your body weight onto your opponent.
This approach tires out his arms and his legs until they become limp rubber noodles, unable to push, pull, or even grip you effectively. It exhausts him to the point where he’s gasping for breath. And it breaks his will to fight so that he actually gives the guard pass.
Now you don’t need to be a big, giant, heavy guy to use pressure passing techniques. It’s not about the amount of weight that you have, it’s how you use it. Even a 100 lb child will feel heavy if he’s standing right on your solar plexus, so it’s all about positioning and leverage.
In this style of passing speed, strength, agility and athleticism count for much less, making pressure passing the great equaliser.
There are other advantages of pressure passing as well, including having to worry about far fewer styles of guard.
If you’re using speed passing then you’re standing up on your feet. And if you’re on your feet then you give you opponent many more opportunities to wrap you up and entangle you with funky styles of guard, hooks, and grips including the de la Riva Guard, Single Leg X Guard, X Guard, Worm Guard, and many other styles of guard being invented by young jiu-jitsu punks on a daily basis.
Coming in low and slow with pressure passing shuts down or prevents many of the most annoying guards.
And being on your knees means that you’ll only be facing a few predictable styles of guard instead of a near infinite variety of grips and guards that you would run into on your feet.
In the Pressure Passing System you’ll learn how to nullify, smash and pass these styles of guard while staying low to the ground, never giving your opponent the opportunity to wrap you in some modern style of guard.

“As a rooster weight I love to use my speed in guard passing, but often speed isn’t enough, and therefore sometimes a strategy change is necessary. That’s when I use all the guard passes, pressure positions and tricks from the top position that I learned over the years from Fabio Gurgel!
I don’t consider myself a normal rooster weight, and this have a lot to do with my style of game. Of course I have the unique characteristics and skills that the light division requires, however, I have no doubt in my mind that what really makes me a different competitor is absorbing and adapting Fabio Gurgel’s knowledge and teaching into my game.
I find that many people are surprised by my top pressure game, but it all makes sense when they remember to whom I learned from.
I’m 100% sure that this instruction is going to take people’s games to the next level. And I’m not talking only about the big guys, but also the small guys like me, who will benefit a lot, just like I did.”

“Fabio has been training in Jiu-Jitsu since the age of 13 years old. He is an exceptionally rare breed of Jiu Jitsu enthusiast, being both a decorated and respected World Class competitor as well as a highly sought after and truly gifted Instructor.
Known as one of the most technical fighters of his generation, Fabio leverages his strong knowledge of the core foundational principles of Jiu Jitsu along with his exceptional ability to convey that information to his students in a very profound way.
Fabio’s specialty is Guard Passing, which helped him win many World titles. His ability to distinguish what needs to be addressed first, when passing a particular type of guard as well as the proceeding steps is very high level.
Additionally, Fabio has excellent details on where to distribute your weight when passing, how to increase your pressure on the opponent, when to release that pressure and when to switch directions to work towards a different pass or position.
He is a true master of the passing game and always demonstrates techniques as well as principles that students of all levels, from White Belt to Black Belt, can utilize and implement into their game.“

“I was fortunate to start training Jiu-jitsu in 1997 with master Fabio Gurgel. Fabio has always been known for having the most efficient guard passes; once he gets his initial position then the pressure only increases and it becomes practically impossible to create space to reset the guard again.
Fabio is very detailed and precise in his guard passes. I have seen several generations of Jiu Jitsu athletes at Alliance become multiple times world champions because of the technical refining they got from training with him.
I personally have a game very similar to that of Fabio, and today I am proud to be recognised as a great passer that uses lots of pressure and leaves no open space for spare.
Without a doubt, Fabio was the greatest guard passer of his day.
I am very lucky and proud to have Fabio as my master.“

“What can I say about Fabio’s top game…
It’s amazing, really good pressure, very good control, and he knows how to put yourself in a really bad situation, and most of the time you end up wishing that he would pass your guard faster instead of taking his time.
For sure he has one of the best top games that I have experienced.
I have learned a lot from him, and my top game has improved a lot too. He has given me lots of tips, and honestly, because of them today I consider my top game better than my guard.”

Practitioners of every age and ability level will find valuable concepts and lessons that will undoubtedly improve their top game.”

“Fabio Gurgel is the leader of a team with unrivalled competition success, so his abilities as an instructor and coach are, without question, top notch.
Unlike many ‘old school’ coaches, he stays on top of new developments in the game, so what you get in the Pressure Passing System is cutting edge knowledge applied to a time tested approach to making a guard player’s life miserable!
The two things I appreciate the most about this instructional are:
1- It offers a concrete system to passing based around a few central passing positions, this simplifies things and makes it much easier to learn.
2- Examples are given on how to apply the movements both against small, flexible guard players, as well as bigger, stronger ones, in addition to showcasing gi and nogi applications. This level of diversity allows you to truly understand the techniques, which is essential to applying them in your training.
Extremely useful, very well presented, and a great resource for someone like me that is constantly studying to improve their BJJ.”

“The Fabio Gurgel Pressure Passing system has totally changed the way that I pass the Guard.
I’m exceptionally busy and I hardly find time to watch instructional videos but I was drawn to this one because I’m a HUGE Fabio Gurgel fan and I was certain that his techniques would be able to help me. And man, was I right!
Some of the small details that he had on classic Guard passes like the Folding Pass and the Over/Under Pass completely changed my game and I’m now passing the Guards of some of the toughest guys in the gym 🙂
If you don’t have much time to watch BJJ instructionals, find time to watch this one – it’s great!”

“The Pressure Passing System is the answer to my prayers. I am so damn tired of running around like a chicken in jiu-jitsu class, desperately stripping grips and hooks against younger and, frankly, better opponents.
Thankfully, Fabio Gurgel shares a long list of simple, easy-to-remember solutions that I can implement immediately.
So, if you’re like me and think you’re too small or too lightweight to pressure pass successfully, then these game-changing lessons will prove you wrong. Big thumbs up and thanks to Fabio and Stephan for giving this old guy new hope!”

“I love this instructional. Fabio Gurgel is a wealth of knowledge on actual techniques, but also on how to apply them properly in a live situation.
The way that the “guard passes” are presented in different situations versus the various types of oppositions and reactions that could come up, is easy to follow and understand.
Anyone looking to improve their top game in BJJ could benefit from this series.
I will use it as an aid to my own personal training but also as a reference for coaching material.”

What’s In This Instructional?
This is a master-course on guard passing, and covers the entries into the major pressure passing positions, transitions between those positions, and finishing the passes against all kinds of resistance.
You’ll get all the tools you need to smash the guards people will use when you come in on them low and slow, pressure passing style!
At 3 1/2 hours it’s long enough to give you pressure guard passing knowledge bombs you can use on the mat today, but condensed enough that you can learn the material easily.
In this instructional Fabio works with two different black belt demo partners: Thomas Lisboa and Stephan Kesting. These two guys have very different body types, so you’ll learn how to use the moves on smaller, more flexible opponents, and also on bigger, stronger opponents.
In this instructional every technique is taught in 2 parts…
First you’ll learn the technique broken down into simple and easy-to-learn steps. This is a “paint by numbers” style of approach, where you can learn the quickly learn the critical details and steps of the pass.
Then the second part of each technique is even more valuable. Here BJJ black belt and analyst of the art Stephan Kesting picks Fabio’s brain about the underlying concepts and principles of the technique, common mistakes and how to fix them, and the strategy of using these techniques in the larger context of a match.
So remember that you’ll get MORE than just the techniques: in every section you’ll get both the nitty-gritty step-by-step breakdown of the move and parts of the big picture when it comes to strategy, implementation and training.

How Much Does the Pressure Passing System Cost?
How much would it be worth to you to be able to crush the hopes and dreams of those younger flexible and athletic guys at your club? Or enter your next tournament knowing that you have a plan in place even if the other guy is a guard-playing nightmare?
To train one-on-one with Fabio Gurgel is almost impossible.
He’s extremely busy running his association of more than 200 schools and the most successful jiu-jitsu competition team in history.
But even if you travelled to San Paulo in Brazil and waited a long time you would still have to pay $500 an hour for his time.
So for 3 1/2 hours of personal training you’d be paying $1750. and you also wouldn’t be able to record the session. Let’s be realistic – without video of the training session how many details would you forget a week or two later?
But with the Pressure Passing System you can review the material as often as you like, and you’ll find new details every time you go through it.
So we could charge a TON for this instructional.
However during the new release sale only you can get permanent access to all the techniques, tactics and strategies in the Fabio Gurgel’s Pressure Passing System starting at only $67.
It cost many tens of thousands of dollars to for us put this material together for you, so at that price you’re getting a tremendous deal.
Plus you can’t put a price on guard smashing, training partner tapping, happiness!

I would rather that we part as friends instead of me ‘tricking’ you into buying something that you don’t need or don’t want.
