There are a LOT of BJJ instructionals at Grapplearts.com/instructionals, and choosing between them can get a little overwhelming.
That’s why I thought I’d share the five instructionals that have been most popular the last 12 months
1, No Gi Pin Escapes. Having rock-solid escapes from all the major positions of jiu-jitsu is liberating. You can still get back to safety if everything screws up. This gives you the confidence to try new things without the oppressive fear of getting smashed on the bottom for the whole rest of the round if things go sideways.
2, BJJ Games. Training time is limited, and if you can learn more from each hour of practice you’ll get better faster. In BJJ Games, ADCC and IBJJF Masters champion Rob Biernacki takes you through the exact training methods I saw him use to get ready for his gold medal streak.
3, BJJ For Old F***s, Volume 1 and 2. Put together, these two series are the very best resource you can have if you’re a grappler over age 40. These instructionals are packed with the strategies and techniques you need to hold your own and stay safe on the mats against the young punks fuelled by Red Bull and testosterone.
4, Omoplata 2.0. The omoplata is a sweep, a submission, and a setup for other sweeps and submissions. It’s also one of my very favorite techniques in all of jiu-jitsu (gi and no gi) and in this instructional I’m thrilled to show you every last trick and detail of my complete omoplata system.
5, The Complete Grapplearts Anthology. This contains every single instructional we’ve ever produced (including all the ones above) and is an amazing resource you’ll be using for years. It’s a hefty purchase, but it’s also something that you can come back to again and again as you go through your BJJ career.
Good luck with your training!
